Compilation pour BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST

Le début de l’année 2006 verra la sortie d’une compilation de la carrière de Barclay James Harvest. En voici déjà tous les détails… La compilation s’intitulera « All is Safely Gathered In – An Anthology 1967 -1997 ». Si elle est déjà sortie au Royaume-Uni le 12 décembre dernier, elle n’arrivera sur le continent qu’au mois de janvier 2006.

Trente ans de la carrière de ce légendaire groupe britannique se retrouveront dans un coffret de cinq disques. Les morceaux qui y figurent ont été remasterisés. Cela va de leur premier single jusqu’à l’album « River of Dreams » sorti en 1997. Ce dernier est aussi le dernier album studio où l’on retrouve ensemble John Lees et Les Holroyd, les deux piliers du groupe.

Le tout sera accompagné d’un livret très complet de près de soixante pages contenant une interview non encore publiée. On y trouvera également des inédits.

Toujours à propos de Barclay James Harvest, mais façon Les Holroyd, ils pourraient bien revenir à Verviers. Vous vous souvenez certainement des trois concerts sold out il y a quelques mois au Spirit of 66. Le groupe devrait revenir à Verviers le 9 avril prochain. Cette fois, ce serait au Grand Théatre. Mais, cela reste à confirmer.
